Lillian Waller

Lillian Waller is an artist from Charlotte, North Carolina, currently studying in Chapel Hill. She works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, and digital media, recreating picturesque scenes and portraits to capture everyday imagery and fleeting detail.

Much of the work sits close enough to its subject to lose the context — a mouth, a knuckle, a handful of soap bubbles — and stays there long enough to find the detail worth keeping.

Lillian specializes in realism but loves to learn about and explore stylistic illustration, graphic design, and various other means of creative design.
